Accidentally Vegan Favourites We Already Love

Accidentally Vegan Favourites We Already Love

It’s Veganuary — and don’t worry, you’re not getting a lecture from us.

Instead, we wanted to share just how many of our best-selling everyday staples are accidentally vegan. Eating a vegan or plant-based diet can sound like a lot of effort, but you might be surprised how many vegan things you already buy without realising.

From store-cupboard heroes to easy dinners and indulgent treats, here are our favourite accidentally vegan foods you’ll find on our shelves.

The Classy Staples

Chances are, most of your cupboard is already vegan. Here’s what’s in ours:

  • Butter Bike Peanut Butter
Delicious, satisfying and a great protein hit. We love Cinnamon Raisin for breakfast, Smoked Chilli for satay, and Everything Bagel for fancy brunches.

  • Perello Chickpeas
Big, plump and creamy — perfect for stews, curries and casseroles. Hearty, substantial and absolutely no flavour compromise.

  • Seven Ate Nine Sourdough Pittas
Chunky pittas ideal for scooping houmous, baba ganoush, ajvar and other delicious vegan dips. Also an excellent base for easy vegan (or non-vegan) pizzas.

  • Single Variety Co. Jams & Marmalades
Made using just one variety of fruit for a purer, cleaner flavour — including jams, marmalades and chilli jams.

And yes — all our bread is vegan, of course.

The Savoury Treats

Thank goodness for olive oil. So many of our favourite savoury snacks just happen to be vegan.

  • Torres Black Truffle Crisps
Proof that vegan snacks can still feel utterly luxurious.

  • Perelló Olives
A dinner-party favourite and, quite frankly, the best olives we’ve ever eaten.

  • Diforti Taralli
A classic Puglian snack. We love the fennel seed, but the chilli version is excellent too. Essential with a dry white wine.

  • Seggiano Rosemary Flatbreads
Perfect with drinks, or used as a chunky dipper.

The Sweet Treats

Don’t worry — we’ve got the sweet-toothed covered too.

  • Forest Feast Chocolate-Dipped Fruit & Nuts
Seriously indulgent. Sour cherry is our personal favourite, but you can’t go wrong.

  • Teoni’s Chocolate-Dipped Cookies
Made with plant-based butter, these are big, chunky and extremely satisfying.

  • Tony’s Chocolonely Almond Sea Salt
Many of Tony’s dark chocolates are dairy-free — and this salty almond number just happens to be our favourite.

  • Lottie Shaw’s Gingerbread Man
Yep — your kid’s favourite is entirely vegan (even if they only eat the chocolate buttons).

Easy Vegan Dinners

Who said vegan food needs to be complicated?

  • Seggiano Pesto
All of our Seggiano pestos are vegan — no cheese, just excellent extra-virgin olive oil and real flavour.

  • La Tua Pasta Tomato Sauces
Made with extra-virgin olive oil and no artificial preservatives. Add roast veg and pasta — done.

  • Rempapa Curry Pastes
Just add coconut milk for an instant South East Asian curry. A brilliant fridge-clearer.

  • Swaadish Curry Sauces
Handmade in small batches by four Gujarati sisters using family recipes.

Flavour Boosts

Vegan food gets an unfair reputation for being bland. These will change your mind:

  • Belazu Black Olive Tapenade
Deep, savoury and versatile. Also try their harissa or tagine paste.

  • White Mausu Peanut Rayu
Crunchy, spicy, addictive. Great on salads, noodles, sandwiches — everything.

  • Lazy Scientist Hot Sauce
Fermented in Brixton. From classic Brixton Hot to Miso Naga and Brixton Reaper for heat lovers.

Veganuary, Made Easy

Whether you’re fully plant-based, vegan-curious, or just fancy mixing things up, these accidentally vegan favourites make Veganuary feel simple — and delicious.

No lectures. Just good food.
