July Cheese Club

July Cheese Club

This week is our monthly cheese club – we order three seasonal, special cheeses from Neal’s Yard for our subscribers.

This month we’ve got a real treat, Eirwen goat cheese. It’s a brand new cheese made by the Three Daughters Dairy in Dorset. It's a tiny, organic, off-grid smallholding with just 19 Golden Guernsey goats – all born and raised on their farm.

Neal’s Yard takes very young cheeses from them and matures them in their Bermondsey maturation rooms – the result is a small, deep-flavoured goat cheese, which will vary in texture and flavour throughout the short season that it is produced. A wonderful collaboration between Neal’s Yard and small farm and exactly the kind of cheese we love to champion.
