Back at last! The first glimpse of sun of the year gave us the perfect excuse to reorder the burrata from La Latteria. If you’ve never had burrata before, it’s a deeply indulgent cheese made by encasing rich double cream in a mozzarella ‘purse’. La Latteria are based in Acton in North London.
We get their cheeses super-fresh. They work with small sustainable local farms to receive the milk direct early in the morning, and make the cheeses immediately. They arrive with us the very next day - you won’t find a fresher cheese unless you make it yourself!
I love mine with grilled aubergines and roast tomatoes, or in a salad with raddiccio and balsamic.
