Dario Loison and Sonia Pilla are the third generation of Loison Panetonne makers, after grandfather Tranquillo Loison started his bakery in Motta on the outskirts of Vicenza in 1938.
Each sourdough panettone is made to grandfather Tranquillo's recipe. It's a labour of love, taking 72 hours of mixing, kneading, rising, shaping and baking to produce each delicious creation.
Try their Classic version, made using peel from Calabrian lemons and Sicilian oranges or the Cioccolato, with cocoa and chocolate drops.
We have the large panettone for Christmas indulgence or mini versions for decadent stocking fillers. Buon appetito!
