There's loads coming in to season at the moment including broccoli, lettuce & salad leaves, more purple sprouting broccoli, spinach & spring onions, watercress, rhubarb and wild nettles (we'll probably spare you the nettles...).
Coming soon are the crown jewels of British seasonal veg: asparagus and Jersey royal potatoes. Keep it simple, they're both delicious steamed with lashings of good butter.
Meal of the month has to be asparagus with hollandaise (or a poached egg if, like me, you're too lazy to make hollandaise) with rhubarb custard tart for dessert (I use the St John custard tart recipe - it's the best one. Just add in cubes of poached rhubarb before it goes in the oven).
