Lots in season especially soft fruits like apricots, blueberries, cherries, gooseberries, greengages, melons, peaches and strawberries.
Now more than ever is a good time to be buying organic. Thin-skinned fruit are particularly prone to absorbing pesticides.
Every year the Environmental Working Group publish their "Dirty Dozen" - the 12 types of fruit and veg that are most likely to contain pesticide residue. For the 8th year in a row Strawberries topped the list so it's well worth stumping up the extra for organic to avoid getting any nasties.
