A classic Sicilian-style sauce, built around aubergine and slow-cooked tomatoes.
Soft, rich and gently sweet, the aubergine absorbs the flavour of sun-ripened tomatoes, olive oil and herbs, giving a rounded, almost silky texture. There’s a light savoury depth from garlic and oregano, with just a hint of warmth from chilli — balanced rather than bold.
Made in Sicily using organic ingredients and no added sugar or thickeners, it’s straightforward and properly done — the kind of sauce that feels like it’s been cooking for longer than it has.
Stir through pasta, layer into aubergine parmigiana, or spoon over roasted vegetables. Simple, but quietly full of flavour.

I love Real Cheese Club; the surprise of it, the sense of decadence, the variety and the night off cooking. The selections are well thought out, covering a broad range and often with a pleasing element of seasonality. Quality is great, and importantly, the portions are good: we'll enjoy 2 or 3 meals per order, with the addition of some salad and bread, which is good value to my mind (and also encourages me to eat salad). It's also great to be supporting small producers making incredible and often overlooked products. We're happy customers, and would definitely recommend
