Traditional biscuit from Seville, created several hundred years ago to provide a portable snack for stagecoach passengers passing through the city. Tortas Gaviño's flat, unleavened biscuits are hand-shaped so no two look quite the same, sweet, crisp and flaky with a mild taste of anise.
Perfect with a cup of tea, or served alongside cheese as an elegant alternative to crackers.
