A proper store-cupboard staple that quietly transforms simple cooking. These small, thin-skinned Beldi lemons are traditionally preserved in salt, developing a deep, savoury citrus flavour and a soft, fragrant intensity.
Salty, lightly acidic and intensely lemony, they bring a brightness that cuts through rich dishes and lifts everything around them. The rind is the part to use — finely chopped or sliced — adding depth rather than sharpness.
Stir through grains, fold into dressings with garlic and chilli, or add to roast chicken, stews and couscous. A small amount goes a long way.

I love Real Cheese Club; the surprise of it, the sense of decadence, the variety and the night off cooking. The selections are well thought out, covering a broad range and often with a pleasing element of seasonality. Quality is great, and importantly, the portions are good: we'll enjoy 2 or 3 meals per order, with the addition of some salad and bread, which is good value to my mind (and also encourages me to eat salad). It's also great to be supporting small producers making incredible and often overlooked products. We're happy customers, and would definitely recommend
